Preaching isnt easy, but somebody has got to do it

My second post on my blog I would like to share about this burden,if you want to call it that, to step out of my comfort zone. My comfort zone has become sharing my faith on Facebook and posting on this blog. I have been sharing my faith for a little over a year on Facebook. I want to publicly admit that I am afraid to talk to people in person about Jesus. Yes that is right I am scared. But I don't want to be scared anymore. I have been praying to overcome this fear for months and now it is time to step out in faith. This year has been preparing me for this. I believe I will have a break through very soon and I will over come this fear. This will be a major victory for me. I don't want to give a foot hold to the devil anymore. All he needs is to get to a small hold of me and he won. But I am too weak to overcome this fear alone. I am getting help from my Jesus and I will overcome this fear.

So now I got this strong desire to step out of the comfort of my keyboard and computer screen and talk to people in person about God. For last few days I have been seeing this verse a lot. Luke 9:23 - Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." I have a desire to talk to complete strangers and talk about the most controversial topic and person that has EVER in existence. How awkward is that? But I am denying my comfort so I can tell people about Jesus Christ and how to receive forgiveness from Him, This desire is not my own desire. I do this out of love. Love for the one who first loved me (Jesus). Out of love, I obey to go out and make disciples. Because of love, I want people to be saved from God's punishment. Even if that means people will hate me, talk bad about me, even if it means death. Jesus died publicly for me, so I want to live publicly for Him. I want to pick up my cross and follow Jesus.

I will continue to post on my Facebook page and on my blog about what God is putting into my heart to share with you. He is trying to reach somebody who reads this blog and/or my Facebook page. It might be YOU Jesus is trying to save. I want to share my experiences I have when I interact with people face to face. We need proof that something is real and authentic. God wants to prove to you that He is real, He loves you and He wants to spend the rest of eternity with you. What a privilege it is to go talk about Christ to the masses!


Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Preaching isn't easy, but somebody has got to do it. Blood washed believers, we have been commanded to do this. Its called "The Great Commission" not "The Great Suggestion". We all know in what era we live in. Time is getting close for the return of our savior. Time is getting short and we have to make a last push to get the gospel out there. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HELL IF WE DO NOT GET OUT THERE!! If you say you love and follow Jesus Christ, then obey His command. If you have a hard time doing this, ask for help. Pray and ask for help to overcome fear. Ask to become bold and careless for Jesus. It may not happen right away because God is never late nor is He in a hurry. This time I have waited has increased my faith in Jesus. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. In the time I waited, I have matured and grown to understand the bible teachings. I am equipped and I am ready to get out there an win souls for the kingdom of heaven. 

I want to tell people about what Jesus has done in my life and tell people they can have what I have too.They can be loved and forgiven by the one who created everything. God deserves all of our praise, attention and time. The time you give up here on earth will not be in vain. The little bit of time you give up here you will be rewarded with eternal life with the creator of everything in paradise. That is a promise you can believe in because Jesus is faithful and keeps all of His promises.- ND
